General Construction  & Development is a modern home renovation & building company in Southwest Florida. Led by Greg Crane, Chris Barkdull & Rick Delahaie, master crafstman with combined experience of over 70+ years.

We are inspired by creating spaces that merge designs from around the world. From the red cedar of the Northwest to the rich woods and natural stone of the West Indies, our goal is to create something very unique.

When we started this business, we never set out to be the largest builder. Our goal was — and has always been — to be a valued resource for well built, well designed, hurricane strong structures along the coasts of Florida and beyond.

From the humble beginnings in the Pacific Northwest to the present, we are inspired by our roots that translate to the most amazing spaces for our clients. From design to a high quality finish we can renovate or build what inspires you.
